Are you considering improving your eyelash game during the Christmas period? With all the parties and events that are associated with the run-up to Christmas, it’s only natural that we would want to look our best. So, if you're tired of the panic and stress caused by trying to apply strip lashes, you should consider a lash lift.

To eliminate the need for an eyelash curler, allow us to introduce you to the lash lift, a semi-permanent procedure that works to curl your lashes upward. The largely painless and speedy procedure appears to be gaining popularity within the beauty community. Many people who have tried the procedure are left with beautiful natural-looking lashes and leave pleased with their results. Contrary to lash extensions, which work by attaching artificial inserts to the lash line to add fullness, lash lifts focus on improving a person's existing features. In essence, they're a perm for your eyelashes.
What is a Lash Lift?
It resembles having your eyelashes permed so they are raised and curled. However, the procedure for lash lifts is milder than the harsh formulations that were originally used back in the 1980s to perm the hair on our heads. Additionally, it differs somewhat from earlier, more established lash perm techniques. For the purpose of really curling the lashes, the traditional method of lash perming used a distinct solution and instrument.
How Does a Lash Lift Work?
The eyelids and eye area should be clean of oil and makeup before beginning the actual procedure. The technician next uses a non-toxic adhesive to adhere a silicone mould or shield to the eyelid. The technician applies the silicone mould on the eyelid and then uses glue to produce a curl by bending the mould upward and outward. The outcome will become apparent once the lashes have been attached to the shield and separated. It should be mentioned that the upper lashes are the only ones used for this service.
We separate each individual lash after it has been placed in the mould to give it a lovely curl before applying the perm solution. Depending on the client, the perm solution can sit for anywhere between 10 and 15 minutes on the eyelash roots, between the root and middle of the lash. Although the processing time is dependent on the thickness of the hair, it might only take five minutes.
The perm solution makes the hair softer and more flexible or flimsy. After wiping it away, we apply the setting solution, which causes the hair to re-harden and cement the shape in place. This neutralising or setting solution prevents over-proces
sing, which could cause lashes to appear excessively curled or even droopy. It is also important to note that there are several mould shapes and sizes to achieve your desired curl.
An oil or conditioning solution is frequently applied to the lashes after the solution has been removed. For added impact, lash lifts and tints are frequently combined. After the procedure, you should wait 24 hours before getting the freshly permed lashes wet. We also recommended sleeping on your back to avoid harsh compression on your lashes.
How Long Will Your Lash Lift Last?
A lash lift typically lasts six to eight weeks, which is roughly equal to the length of the lash development cycle. But for some people, they might last for as long as 10 weeks. It's very simple to keep a lash lift looking great. After the first day, the benefits would still be noticeable whether you used mascara, didn't wear mascara, or rubbed your eyes.
At Real Faces, we work hard to meet all of our client's requirements by offering them completely, top-notch services. We understand that each individual is distinct and needs a tailored approach to help them discover the look that suits them. With our lash lift procedure, you'll always wake up with naturally thick, long lashes.
